Here is my card this week, using one of their ever cute stamps

I colored the image with copics and added a little glitter to her wings.  The DP is from Basic Grey’s Ambrosia 6×6 paper pack just a scrap piece that was in the package.  I added some pearls, a button and twine from my stash.  I used some Tim Holtz distress inks to dress it up a bit.  I hope you enjoy it and be sure to stop by the blog to see the other DT creations and also enter this week’s challenge.

Our new challenge is up at Use it Tuesday this week.  Our theme You Can’t Touch This, challenges you to use a beloved favorite that you’ve just not been able to break down and use yet….go ahead, it’s relatively painless

For me, I have only 3 sheets of this gorgeous Madame Boutique paper by Kaisercraft.  I also have some matching die cuts and I’ve been holding onto them for a long time.  After the initial shock of breaking into them wore off, I was glad I did use them for this layout.  The picture was on a different layout that I did, but never really liked.  I really like this one so much better.

This picture is of me as a baby with my mom, my grandma, and my great-grandma holding me.   This is one of my favorite pictures of all time, the 4 generations of women on my mother’s side.  Sadly my great-grandma passed when I was very young so I don’t have a lot of pictures of her.  All the other elements on this page are from my stash.  The paper flowers I made with some old book pages that were sent to me in a swap!  I really love how this turned out.  I hope you will stop by the blog and play with us.  There are a lot of great projects this week, AND we are having a design team call!!!  All the details are on the blog! It’s been so busy with work and my son ill again (an infection in his finger this time and some visits to the doctor and chiropracter to help with a gait issue) that it’s amazing I’ve had time to craft this week!

Our challenge is Clean and Simple also known as CAS.  This is a challenge to use less and less embellishments and papers on your project.  The least amount the better.  This is always a challenge for me because I love to embellish.  However, I am thrilled with how this card turned out.  I used a sketch in the March/April issue of Papercrafts magazine  and its just a fabulous one.

I just used a couple of scraps of paper in my basket and the butterflies were sent to me in a swap.  They were regular corrugated cardboard and I misted them with my smooch spritzes!  The pearls are from my stash and the sentiment is K Andrew Designs

With Mother’s Day fast approaching here in North America, our theme Flowers for Mom is what’s up this week at Use it Tuesday.  A time to celebrate those women in our lives who were the big influence.   Maybe it wasn’t your mom, but your grandma, or perhaps an aunt or any other female who was like a Mother to you.

I have a layout for you today that highlights my pregnancy with Riley and how crazy I was waiting for him to come out.  In case you didn’t know he was 41+4 when I finally went into labour.  I felt like I was pregnant forever!!!

That’s my belly a couple weeks or so before he was born and then a pic of him a couple of days old!  All the product is from my stash, so I’m not entirely sure I know where they came from.  I hope that you enjoy the layout and please stop by the blog to see the other gorgeous projects the DT created this week.

Here’s mine!

I decided to break out my Wild Card Cartridge and one of my favorite ones on it is the Owl.  So I cut it out usual some Basic Grey Nook and Pantry paper.  I’ve had it forever in my stash!  I then added just some stickles for definition because that paper is pretty loud…LOL

It’s just a simple card because I am sending it out in the mail for an RAK so it can’t have a lot of embellishments on it.  I hope you like it.

We have a great new challenge for you at Use It Tuesday this week.  It’s a Sticky situation when we want you to use the sticky parts of your stash…those rub-ons (oh do I have a lot of those), embossing powders and stickers (everyone has some in their stash, I know it!)..or anything else that sticks….

I created this card using some Glubbers…I bought them 2 years ago when they first came out and never once used them!  I also used a couple of different rub ons for this card in the sentiment and the little stitches.  I also broke out my glue gun and used it to adhere the bling to the flower! I’m now using my glue gun for EVERYTHING! LOL

The DP is the last of my MME All Spice 6×6 pack.  Another one bites the dust…I am so happy I am finally using them up!   The ribbon and the bling flower are from my stash as well.  I got the sketch for this card from Andrea Walford’s blog .  Every week she comes out with a great sketch that is easy to do and has step by step instruction.  Love them!  Thanks Andrea!
